Product Description I've read something about a problem with the ISO 12312-1 documentation for Helioclipse. Should I be worried? Not at all! A small initial batch (under 1%) had a typo (ISO 12312-1 instead of 12312-2). Just a printing error—the glasses meet ISO 12312-2 and are 100% safe. Our support is available 24/7 and we'll replace any affected unit. What certification do Helioclipse glasses have? Helioclipse glasses are certified to the highest international solar viewing standard (ISO 12312-2:2015), CE marked, and independently third-party tested, meaning these glasses are perfectly safe and certified for direct eclipse viewing Do I need glasses if I am only seeing a partial eclipse? Yes! During a partial eclipse, harmful UV & infrared rays are still active. Regular sunglasses won't protect you. Always wear your Helioclipse ISO 12312-2 certified glasses throughout the entire partial eclipse. Can I take the glasses off during totality? Yes! During totality, when the moon fully covers the sun, you can safely remove your glasses to witness the breathtaking solar corona, the sun's glowing halo. Put them back on the moment sunlight returns. Are Helioclipse glasses safe for children? Yes, with adult supervision for ages 3–14. Not suitable for children under 3. Always inspect before use, discard if scratched, torn, or damaged. Perfectly safe for the whole family when used as directed.
